Here's a step-by-step guide on how to grow Mirabilis jalapa from seeds:
**Step-by-Step Instructions:**
1. Before sowing, rinse the seeds in water and soak them in a cup of warm water for 24 hours. This will help soften the seed coat and increase germination rates.
2. Sow the seeds about 1/8 inch deep and 1-2 inches apart. 
3.Place a clear plastic bag or a propagator over the pots or trays to create a humid microclimate.
4. The ideal temperature for germination is between 65°F to 75°F (18°C to 24°C).
5.Check the soil daily and water when it feels dry to the touch. 
6.  It may take 1-3 weeks for the seeds to germinate. Once they emerge, remove the plastic bag or propagator to prevent overwatering.
7.  Once the seedlings have 2-3 sets of leaves, Harden off the seedlings by gradually exposing them to outdoor conditions over the course of 7-10 days before transplanting them into their final location.
8.Feed your Mirabilis jalapa plants with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer at half strength once a month.
