Perennial vine, stout branches. Often climbing on the wall or on the rocks,it likes damp environment, not afraid of light radiation, cold, drought and barren. No strict requirements on soil, but the fear of water. Because the seed surface have oil, germination time is long. Pour the hot water of about 80�XC into the edible alkali, then soak the seeds for 4-5 days, to be absorbed into the water before the seed sowing.
